Rhynie before 1889 .

The original Church was thought to have been built in 1823 , the spire and present alterations were done in 1889 . The Tower , clock and bell were a gift from Mr .James Symon of Melbourne Australia .Mr Symon was a native of Rhynie , he returned here to see the completion of the Tower but died in Rhynie before he returned to Australia .
